Jack White (born John Anthony Gillis) is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who rose to prominence in the early 2000s leading a highly influential minimalist guitar-and-drums act and later built a successful solo career. He co-founded Third Man Records, has produced and collaborated with numerous artists, appeared in films, and is a multiple Grammy Award winner.
