Formed by Bryan Atchison and Neil Olstad while at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, the duo (formerly Koo Koo Kanga Roo) built a reputation for high-energy, interactive dance-along performances and music videos. They partnered with GoNoodle, have released multiple albums (including Whoopty Whoop and Slow Clap), and have toured nationally—supporting acts such as The Aquabats and opening for Frank Turner. The group shortened its name to Koo Koo on September 19, 2023.
