About
Smerz is a Norwegian duo made up of Catharina Stoltenberg and Henriette Motzfeldt who began releasing music in 2016 and met while at school in Oslo. They released early EPs including Okey (2016) and Have Fun (2018), signed with XL Recordings, and issued their debut album Believer in 2021; they also run the label Shopping and have hosted a monthly NTS radio show. The pair have performed at venues and festivals internationally, including Tate Modern and Roskilde.
