The Twilite Tone
The legendary producer/DJ from Chicago that has been electrifying dancefloors since the early 90's, walking the well defined lines between so-called 'House' and 'Hip Hop' music. He is accredited for bringing 'Hip Hop' along with a wide variety of music to the Chicago club scene. His efforts bridged the gaps between musical genres in Chicago which were heavily dominated by the 'House' and 'Techno' sounds. Tone, under the moniker Ynot, produced on Common's first 3 albums which includes the classic "Resurrection".
In 2000, Tone created GREAT WEEKEND, a party which features DJs, musicians, artists, and other interesting individuals who defy laws of any genre. Now residing between New York City, California, and Chicago, The Twilite Tone produces and DJs a diverse tapestry woven of music both nationally and internationally.
