Formed in 2000, the band has released multiple studio albums including Pirates (2022) and Pirates II – Armada (2024), plus several live and orchestral projects. They tour internationally and have played major festivals such as Wacken and Hellfest; their track "Lemuria" was used during the 2011 World Championships in Athletics medal ceremonies.
