Waiting 4 April began around vocalist Colton Ray and released the Photo Memory EP in 2022, building a dedicated online following. The group relocated to Dallas in 2023, worked with producers Evan Couture and Geoff Rockwell, released the full-length A Word For Dissonance (June 2025), and has toured internationally including early shows in South Africa.
