Wanz Dover is a DJ, producer, musician, promoter and music journalist who has been a constant presence in the Dallas music scene for three decades. He moved to Denton in the early 1990s, played in post-punk and shoegaze bands, and in 2006 created the Blixaboy alias to explore dub, electro, Detroit techno, krautrock and funk, releasing music on labels including Concrete Plastic, CPU and Science Cult as well as his Stereo on Strike imprint. His recent work (including the album Mobius Trip: Live at the Texas Theater) draws on kosmische and Berlin School influences.
