Together in partnership, the Fort Worth Garden Club (FWGC) and FWBG present the Girls Nature Workshops series! These hands-on programs connect girls and their families to the fascinating world of horticulture and floriculture. Each workshop highlights skills and activities designed to inspire the next generation of plant lovers and environmental stewards.
In this workshop, let your creativity bloom! Participants ages 7–13 will learn basic technical skills for working with flowers and foliage while exploring the art principles of balance, rhythm, and proportion. Through hands-on instruction, they will create their own floral design and discover how color, texture, and form come together to transform fresh plant materials into a beautiful arrangement to take home.
Although Girls Nature Workshops are not specifically designed to meet badge requirements, Girl Scouts are welcome to complete badge work through these programs. Please note: petals or badges are not available on-site; they can be purchased at the Girl Scout store or online.
Children must be accompanied by an adult
