Arduino for Absolute Beginners
Saturday, September 12, 1:30-3 p.m.
The Hive | Registration Required
This workshop is for those who want to know, “what is this Arduino thing?” We will walk you through the first exercises in our SparkFun Inventor’s Kits (version 4.0a), such as blinking an LED, using a potentiometer and photoresistor. Participants are encouraged to use our laptops, as we cannot troubleshoot issues on participants’ own devices. The Redboard closely resembles Arduino Uno. Specifications of the kit components and exercises can be found at learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/sparkfun-inventors-kit-experiment-guide---v40/ This workshop is for people with no Arduino experience; no advanced programming concepts will be covered. Attendees should be comfortable with computers. Open to makers 16 and up. Registration opens August 29 at 1:30 p.m.
