The Nutty Professor (1996)

It's hard to top how much of a one-man band Jerry Lewis was in his prime. With the original version of THE NUTTY PROFESSOR alone, he served as writer, director, producer, hero, and villain. But superstar Eddie Murphy is no slouch, and with this remake, he managed to one-up a comedy icon and revitalize his own career in the process.

In an incredible feat of acting and special effects, Murphy plays seven characters in this hilarious story of an overweight professor who magically loses 250 pounds but gains an obnoxious alter ego in the process. His performances are so jaw-droppingly funny, you'll be shouting, "Hercules! Hercules! Hercules!"
