Jamal Russell

Jamal Russell is a stand-up comedian and writer based in Washington, D.C. He has appeared on Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, Netflix is a Joke Radio's “Are You Still Listening” on Sirius XM, and recently released a taped set with Don’t Tell Comedy. In 2025, Jamal was named a Comic to Watch at New York Comedy Festival, placed as a top-three finalist in Don’t Tell Comedy’s national competition, and was selected as one of just 40 comics to showcase for NBC’s Comedy Hour. He has opened for Ian Lara and Dave Attell.
