The Cowtown Coliseum located in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards has a rich history steeped in Rodeo and the West. The Cowtown Coliseum offers all the modern amenities, yet retains the feel of a historic site. Spectators can sit in air conditioned comfort and view the best in Rodeo and Western action. Doors are open to the public during the week when there are no events. Be sure to check out the pictorial timeline on the entry wall and as of July 24, 2010 the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame occupies our corridors with all of its memorabilia. Cowtown Coliseum is available for events of all kinds. In 1986 the Cowtown Coliseum was totally refurbished and brought up to modern day standards. This includes the heating and air conditioning systems, in addition to the production lighting and sound.

Public transit

Trinity Metro’s Orange Line connects Downtown Fort Worth and the Stockyards daily (approximately 5 a.m.–1 a.m.) with stops near the venue; connections are available at Fort Worth Central Station and TEXRail’s North Side Station.
