Located on the banks of the original Trinity River, the 6,500-capacity Longhorn Backyard Amphitheater will host a series of soft opening shows this fall, starting with Randy Rogers on September 20, 2025. A grand opening with a full calendar of events will commence in the spring of 2026, providing North Texas music lovers with a state-of-the-art outdoor venue just one mile south of downtown Dallas.

Getting there
For major events, private shuttles may operate between the venue and nearby DART Light Rail stations, including Convention Center, Cedars, and 8th & Corinth; Cedars is roughly a mile from the site. Rideshare is encouraged for most shows.
